Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
— Albert Einstein

The past week's events leave many of us shaking our heads and wondering what is happening to our beautiful world.

Reactions vary. We may defiantly call for the proverbial eye for an eye. We weep. We pray. We long for an end to the craziness. We call it war while we wish for peace.

Everything can change in an instant. How do we find a new way forward in the dark? How do we release the plans, hopes, and dreams that won't come to fruition as expected? Yes, it's all changed in an instant.

There is one exception to Einstein's definition of insanity.

Love.

Repeat. Replay. Do not press pause. Only love pushes out the darkness.

It just may be the only thing that will save us. As individuals and as humanity.

The lights are out. Love continues to shine. Shine on. (click to tweet)
